Brightfish is controller

Brightfish is a controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that Brightfish decides which personal data will be processed, for what purpose and in what way. This applies to the details of prospects, clients or applicants. Brightfish, located at Wegalaan 46, 2132 JC Hoofddorp, is responsible for the processing of personal data as shown in this privacy statement.


Which personal data do we process?

Brightfish processes the following personal data of prospects, clients or job applicants.

  • Name and address details
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Bank account number
  • Job Title
  • Company details, such as company name and department
  • Contact history, such as conversation notes
  • CVs and other profile data (related to job applications).

For what purpose do we process personal data?

Brightfish collects personal data because we want to be of service to you as well as possible. Your personal data will be processed by us:

  • to enter into and execute contracts for services offered by Brightfish;
  • to manage the resulting relationships with Brightfish;
  • to be able to contact and maintain contact with clients, job applicants and potential relations

We use personal data that you provide yourself or which we collect from you. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. Without these data, however, it is often difficult to send you a quotation or the information / documents you request, to perform work or to invoice. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your prior written consent.


How do we protect personal data?

Brightfish takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. How long do we retain the data?

Brightfish does not store data longer than necessary. Where legal rules apply with regard to storage periods, we take this into account.


Sharing personal data with third parties

Brightfish will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide this information if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data in our order. In this we ensure that the party that works for us will treat your data safely and confidentially. Brightfish remains responsible for these processing operations.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@brightfish.nl. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request. Do you have a complaint about this? Then you can submit it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
