As part of this mission, our BDM staff is responsible for engaging existing and new customers at the local level. Topics as new lead sourcing, pitching, dealmaking, contracting and keeping an eye on customer success are key to this role and team.

About the role of Business Development Manager:

Health technology is currently one of the fastest growing industries in Europe and globally. In our five European focus countries, the entire social and health care sector is facing the biggest challenges in history, with continuous reorganizations and a constant pressure to change the patient journey to fit new requirements and societal needs (like the COVID-19 pandemic).

As such, the effectiveness and efficacy of healthcare (outcomes) is becoming an increasingly important area. This is creating a growing demand in the direction of healthcare technology and analytics. Brightfish is part of the Dutch LOGEX Group, which has been one of Europe’s leading players in healthcare analytics for the past decades. As a group, we operate in eight countries and with over 450 colleagues. We are now looking for a professional and dynamic professional for our sales and business development team for Finland, Germany, Spain, UK and France. This new role will work closely with our local partners and/or offices.

You have strong experience and evidence of b2b sales, preferably in healthcare services and/or SAAS services. You are also familiar with the public sector and healthcare in particular and have an active network. With this, you have been able to build your extensive network of influencers around you. Experience in health technology and analytics is an absolute strength. The core business you will be promoting is our Digital Patient Journey subsidiary Brightfish (Have a look at the rest of this website www.brightfish.com/fr). You will work intimately with the local country office while developing strong ties with international headquarters in the Amsterdam Area, Netherlands.

Your duties & responsibilities are (highlight, not an exhaustive list):

  • Developing the sales & business development strategy.
  • Design and deploy marketing activities in your local market (with support from our international office)
  • Finding new leads, pitching to potential customer, keep track of and respond to RFI/RFP’s (Tenders) and win them.
  • Writing proposals and set prices (in close cooperation with the international commerce team) within clear guidelines from the international team.
  • Sales planning and reporting with the country CEO and/or the international commerce team (will vary per country), you are responsible for deal-pipeline volume and closing deals with customers in your market. Part of your remuneration package will depend on it.
  • Running the customer assignments with a Product Delivery Manager, in role of account owner / client director (you own the customer relationship).

What do you bring at the table?

  • Strong experience (>5-7 years) of B2B sales preferably within the public healthcare sector and/or SaaS
  • Intimate understanding of social and healthcare market in the focus markets mentioned in this vacancy.
  • Strong existing network in social and healthcare market in the focus markets mentioned .
  • Bachelor degree (or higher)
  • Fluent / native speaker of the language in your focus market
  • Fluent English, with strong experience in business
  • Previous knowledge on healthcare economics, outcomes measurements and health tech will be considered a strength.
